Booking your accommodation

When you register for Visa Futures you’ll also be asked to book your hotel accommodation.

We have negotiated specially discounted rates for all Visa Futures delegates at a number of hotels near the venue. Please book your hotels using the booking forms below.

Once you have made your reservation, you’ll receive a booking confirmation number directly from the hotel.

If you need to change your reservation, please contact the hotel directly, quoting the booking confirmation number you received.

Hotel charges

Please ensure that you pay for your hotel room, breakfast, taxes and any incidental charges incurred during your stay before you leave the hotel.

And, to ensure that you don’t incur any extra room charges, please remember to checkout before 11:00 on 30 June.

Luggage

If you have a late flight or are attending a Board Meeting on the afternoon of 30 June, you’ll need to store your luggage with the hotel concierge. If not, please bring your luggage to the secure luggage storage area outside the Rotonde.

Due to the heightened security levels in France, you are unable to bring your luggage into the meeting space. We have a secure storage area for your luggage outside the Rotonde. Please ensure your luggage is clearly labelled.

Please allow enough time to walk to the Rotonde with your luggage, and plan to arrive no later than 08:15 to ensure that you have time to deposit your luggage in the secure area.

Travel

The closest international airport to Cannes is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Journey time by road from Nice to Cannes is between 45 minutes to an hour, and sometimes longer at peak times.

Unless you are participating in one of the Visa National Board or Committee meetings, please book a flight which arrives at Nice Airport no later than 11:00.

This will enable you to arrive in time for the start of Visa Futures.
Arrival at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport Collect your luggage, pass through Customs and Immigration, and then exit into the Arrivals Hall.

Look out for the Visa Futures team, who will be holding Visa Futures signs, and will show you to the waiting transport, which will take you to Cannes.

Important – please ensure each piece of your luggage is clearly labelled with your surname. The Visa Futures team will also attach a label to each piece of your luggage, which will help with its delivery to your hotel.

Please note that transfers will run from: 09:30 to 13:00 from both terminals. If you arrive outside these times, please make your own way to Cannes by taxi (average fare €70-€90)

Entry requirements for France

No 'entry' visa is necessary for a stay of less than 90 days for the following countries:

  • EU members including Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
  • Croatia & Macedonia
  • Australia
  • Israel
  • Albania & Bosnia Herzogovina citizens if a biometric passport is held

However, you should ensure that you make your own necessary checks before you travel. We also recommend that you have travel insurance protection.



A ‘Visa de circulation’ is required for citizens from Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine. These are available via your local French embassy or consulate.

Please check with your local French embassy/consulate if you think you may need a visa to enter France.
